Support Workers – Learning Disability**

Supporting individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) can be a challenging but hugely rewarding career. We have long term positions for experienced Support Workers who have a special interest in working with Autism, and ASD and are committed to developing their career as a Care Assistant or Support Worker within Adult Learning Disabilities.
With a clear understanding of managing challenging behavior effectively, being able to demonstrate that you provide a person centered approach to your care delivery, and being an individual with a calm attitude and an encouraging approach to the individuals you support, we can offer you long term Support Worker assignments across London and the South East with many of the UKs leading Learning Disability providers
Rates vary between £8.50 – £10.00 per hour for Support Workers or Care Assistants, depending upon the shift worked and the location of the Learning Disability service.
You must:
* Hold a valid DBS (Preferably registered with the online service checker)
* Have a Care qualification or Care Certificate and a minimum of 6 months UK based care experience
* Be able to work full time hours across a mix of shift patterns such as mornings / afternoons / evening / nights / weekends
* Be able to provide references covering the last 5 years
* Have all Mandatory Care Training up to date, or be prepared to complete this prior to being placed into any shifts – FRCE can assist with your training needs if required
* Be experienced in supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities, especially Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD, Autism)
